Disclosure Gap
AnalyticsThe difference between what Google shows in total search traffic and what it hides from the search query details.
A Disclosure Gap is what happens when Google tells you the total number of search visits, but does not show all of the searches that created those visits. In Search Console reporting, the gap appears when Google shows aggregate clicks or impressions for a site, page, device, country, or day, but the matching query table shows fewer clicks or impressions. Dataset work makes that gap visible by comparing total dimensions against query dimensions instead of treating query rows as complete traffic data.
